Improving the quality of people’s way of living.
Nakweede Network Foundation (NANEF) started in 2018 under Women At Work International (WAWI) until 2022 when it was registered as a Community Based Organisation in Kayunga District, Uganda.
Having worked in community and school institutions for a long time, our interactions revealed that our communities suffer from low levels of income, high levels of school dropouts, early pregnancies and early marriages that needed urgent action.
NANEF gives self-reliance and professional development skills to vulnerable women, youths and children in rural and semi-rural areas. We enhance standards of living and help our community members escape the cycle of violence and injustices that surround them.
